Located in the department of Piura, Cabo Blanco is widely held to feature the best left-breaking wave in Peru. A rapid and short wave (which makes a quick take-off obligatory) and one of the best tubes in the country. The wave can reach a height of 4 meters, although normally it ranges from 2-3 meters. The best time for surfing is from November to December. It’s a perfect left hander starting on sand bottom which progressively disappears to live on the open a rock reef. These waves are very fast and they brake with a PERFECT TUBULAR SHAPE along its trajectory. This wave can be surfed from 3 to 10 foot height. The best months to surf it are from October to March. The board size goes from 6′1′’ to 7′6′’. Cabo Blanco is known world wide as the Peruvian Pipeline.
