Pacasmayo is on the Pacific seaboard. It is north of Lima and is located near the three most important cities of northern Peru. It lies between the cities of Trujillo and Chiclayo and is on the way to Cajamarca city. It has a population of approximately thirty thousand people.
Pacasmayo is located on a large bay. It has a beach of stone and sand, and also has a nice seafront with old houses. Near Pacasmayo, in the bay, there is lighthouse Known as “El Faro”. It lights the sea in the night and guides small fishing boats and ships. Near “El Faro” people love to go surfing and also practice windsurfing. Pacasmayo is a warm coastal town where the easterly wind blows all the time.
In Pacasmayo there is an old pier. It was built in the nineteenth century circa 1860. During this time, Pacasmayo was an important seaport. When it was built, its length was one thousand five hundred meters. But in the 1920’s a big wave cut the pier in half.
Pacasmayo had a nice train system which transported agricultural products from other outlying towns into Pacasmayo in order to export them by sea. It was also used to transport people. The arrival of the Panamerican road greatly affected this business and the train station was forced to close. (more…)

Nonura Beach Peru
Bayovar lies 105 km (two hours) southwest of the city of Piura. To get to the beach, visitors need to take the detour at Kilometer 886 of the North Pan-American Highway that runs to the port of Bayovar and then heads down along the coast. Apt only for four-wheel drive vehicles.
The wave that breaks at Bayovar-Nonura, located in the department of Piura, is a classic wave, running long and leftwise, reaching a height of up to 3 meters. Surfers say it resembles a train for its size and force. Access to the point involves a tough paddle out against strong currents. The beach has swells generally during summer.

Mancora Beach Peru

Ground way: In the Km 886 of the North
Panamericana must take the aversion that drives you
to the Bayovar Terminal, from there, must head
toward the coast, reachable only with all terrain
vehicles.

Huanchaco Beach Peru
Huanchaco beach, is located 8 miles away from Trujillo, ELIO is the surfing point , which made on a very exiting experience for people who love surfing. Summer is from december to april , the tempeture runs from 75 to 95. You will enjoy the olim-playas ask for it when ever you get there.
La Posa, Totoritas, and Huanchaquito are also places where you want to go. The pre-incas civilization where living in this lands for thousands of years, and they still use canoes to fish transposing this customs by generation , made with totoras ,type of reed which only grows in Huanchaco and the Titicaca lake, called caballitos de totora .
Its name comes from the Mochica word “Huacocha” that means “beautiful lagoon of the golden fishes.” Picturesque creek of fishermen and residential spa. Located at 13 km. (8 miles) northwest of Trujillo. During the Colonial age it was the main port of Trujillo. In the high part an old and beautiful church is located, in which the image of the “Virgen del Socorro” is venerated, disembarked in January 1537 by order of the King Carlos V from Spain. It is also conserved since 1707, in an urn, the intact body of Dean Saavedra, considered a miraculous saint.
It has great activity during the summer months (December to April). Good waves for the surf lovers, and comfortable inns and seafood restaurants. It is the best place to appreciate the famous “Caballitos de Totora” (small boats made out of straw) that at the moment some fishermen use to maintain the old tradition of the Mochicas fishermen from the III century. Chicama Beach Peru
Chicama, located in the department of La Libertad, is famous for boasting the world’s longest wave. It divides into four sections: the point, the cape, the “man” and the “pier”. Each section is a wave in itself, with its own character and speed. Surfers say to surf Chicama, one needs an extra pair of legs.
The wave is a classic left-running Peruvian wave and grows with south and west-running currents. Its ideal size is 2 meters.

Chicama lies 94 km (an hour-and-a-half) northwest of the city of Trujillo. The cove, also called Malabrigo, is reached by taking the detour at Paijan, at Kilometer 614 of the North Pan-American Highway.

In the Km 614 of the North Panamericana you’ll find Paijan Locality, from where starts a road to the Port of Chicama also known as Malabrigo Port. Access for all kind of vehicles also reachable by bus.

Cabo Blanco Peru
Located in the department of Piura, Cabo Blanco is widely held to feature the best left-breaking wave in Peru. A rapid and short wave (which makes a quick take-off obligatory) and one of the best tubes in the country. The wave can reach a height of 4 meters, although normally it ranges from 2-3 meters. The best time for surfing is from November to December.It’s a perfect left hander starting on sand bottom which progressively disappears to live on the open a rock reef. These waves are very fast and they brake with a PERFECT TUBULAR SHAPE along its trajectory. This wave can be surfed from 3 to 10 foot height. The best months to surf it are from October to March. The board size goes from 6′1′’ to 7′6′’. Cabo Blanco is known world wide as the Peruvian Pipeline.
It is also a dangerous wave as it breaks over a reef, which becomes more exposed when swells wash away the sand. Wave frequency depends directly on swells coming from the north (generated in the North Pole and which pass through Hawaii).
Climate:
Subtropical, warm and sunny all year-round. Temperatures range from 24°C-28°C.
Access:
Cabo Blanco lies 153 km north of the city of Piura. To get to Cabo Blanco, surfers need to take the winding paved road that runs from the town of El Alto, located at Kilometer 1,137 of the North Pan-American Highway.
